After a lengthy review process, the United States Navy selected Preservation Trades Company's proposal as the best plan for the restoration of their prized Tiffany Studio stained glass windows.

First the Navy’s priceless stained glass windows were carefully removed and transporting them to Preservation Trades Company's studio to be restored by skilled craftsmen. These windows consist of thousands of opalescent, drapery, rolled and textured glass, as well as antique and flashed glass, and are highlighted with pressed glass jewels. Plating is also is employed throughout these multi-layered windows.

Of the five magnificent windows, three are authentic Tiffany Studio windows valued at over $ 1.4 million each. These are among the many significant memorials, gifts, artifacts and furnishings that comprise this impressive Greek Renaissance structure.

The Mason Window was fabricated by Tiffany Studios of New York and designed by Frederick Wilson. There are a minimum of 2 layers of glass over 40 percent of the surface area, a maximum of 4 layers over 10 percent and 3 layers over 50 percent of the surface area. Very little paint is used on this window.
